The Malta Youth Orchestra present an all-female composers concert celebrating women in music under the baton of Spanish conductor Virginia Martínez.  

The exquisite selection includes early Romantic music by Fanny Mendelssohn, and delightful works by modern composers Doreen Carwithen and Amy Marcy Cheney Beach, performed for the first time in Malta. Also featuring is Fine Line by Maltese composer Véronique Vella, part of Contemporary Colours, defined as one of the top 50 albums in 2021 by New York Music Daily. 


The concert is free of charge however booking is required.

The initiative is part of the European Youth Year.
