Eminent Maltese violinist Carmine Lauri leads the MPO Strings in an intimate concert at Casino Maltese featuring an exquisite programme showcasing two iconic serenades for string orchestra, highlighting the brilliance and virtuosity of these instruments.

Tchaikovsky’s masterful Serenade for Strings is brimming with enchanting melodies throughout all of its four movements, with influences of Russian folk tunes. Dvořák’s captivating Serenade for Strings is one of his more beloved works, full of lyrical charming melodies, reflecting the spirit of Bohemia.
