Description

What happens when a musician begins to question everything that makes a song a song?

From the synth-pop beginnings of Talk Talk to the extraordinary, almost otherworldly soundscapes of Spirit of Eden, Mark Hollis followed a singular artistic vision—one that increasingly embraced improvisation, restraint, space and, ultimately, silence.

Through stories, context and carefully selected musical excerpts, we'll trace the journey that led to this remarkable recording, before experiencing Spirit of Eden in its entirety, uninterrupted, on vinyl, through a specially curated high-fidelity sound system.

An evening dedicated not simply to hearing music, but to listening.

An intimate listening session exploring the life, influences and musical evolution of Mark Hollis, the unconventional recording process behind Spirit of Eden, and the profound legacy of an album that challenged the boundaries of popular music.

Limited to 25 listeners for an intimate, shared experience.

Savoured individually. Shared communally.
